Backlink with genuine Web Directories

I had been waiting for long to see linkclick.org appear in the search result on Google for Free Web Directory. After repeated try I decided to go for writing an article with Free Web Directory key phrase placed nicely in the content. To get some ideas I started exploring some of the popular article submission sites. But most of the articles were of poor quality and lot of repetition. I never wanted to use those ideas for the sack of writing an article. The objective was simple, that is to add value by providing some useful information along with self interest to promote linkclick.org.

Then I came across an article (unfortunately I lost the link, but will provide the backlink to the genuine claim) which focused on the benefits of web directory submission. Everybody knows the benefits but the way it was explained showed in in-depth knowledge of the writer on the topic of Web Directories.

I would now take the points the writer addressed and would be elaborating them further in a series of articles. I would also invite readers to share their thoughts and if anyone of you has written that article can request to provide backlink.

It is a common practice to go for Web Directories with higher PR but with time I have come across many such directories which are now just the domain name and services does not exists any more. Many of them must be Paid Directories and the subscribers have lost their money and backlink.
